oh canada...............

ok so i've been home for awhile now..but it is my first official weekend here..                    

i must admit to feeling certain feelings of loyalty to the north now. =) so how was my summer? pretty broad question and it could take lots of words to tell of all. but to make it simple....beaver lake camp--it was so very good, stretching, amazing..pretty much as the poet says it.."it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.." worst as in--didnt know if i would survive at times.. had to deal with alot of different seemingly impossible situations..but through them all God really showed himself strong. BEST as in wow--made so many great friends, memories, and formed relationships with girls that i will never forget! def one of the best summers of my life. taught me lots about people, God, and myself!!

only had four girls junior camp II! loved those girls..such drama queens! notice the mustaches..that was from drama night..=)

camping was a huge highlight..besides the normal freakouts over bugs in pillows n scary sounds in the woods=)

here we had chapel in the corral...chapel was one of my most favorite times....singing the same songs over n over but still having great fun doing it and lifting the roof plain off with our God is an awesome God....wow o wow!

so the reason i havent been home much yet....lots of good weekends... kansas for a wedding, youth campout the next--gospel team reunion....awesome times that was! singing together again after 6 months was pretty amazing.. and connecting with people again after so long was just really awesome. saying so many good byes in just a few weeks time though really bites. i prefer the see ya laters!

im already into my third week of school! 13 students this time...!! pretty crazy having one week to get ready....but with some real good help and lot of prayers...(thanks everyone!!) i survived and things are starting to get less crazy and i can take a few more breaths. =)

so back to normal life at home again...but its good. and im happy! i thank God for all the awesome experiences...and i'm definitely learning to LiVe In ThE mOmEnT...cuz time slips away so fast!

oh and last but definitely not least........not only am i miss jeanie..but as of next year i will be AUNTIE jeanie!!! doesnt that have a nice ring to it. this is me totally and completely head over heels excited beyond repair!!!

Summer vacation is heree.....and i couldnt be more happy!! looking back to a year ago...i didnt imagine i would teach..but now a whole year is gone and im still not sure where it ran off to! 

this was on the last day of school-- they are giving me the group hug. right at that moment i could hardly breathe! =) but it was a good thing. sniff

and my cousin julie graduated!! congrats jules and vivian..

and of course that brings family around..

my car has taken several trips lately-- here is the one trip: penn valley!! it was great seeing everyone again and hanging out etc etc

then the next one taken in the exact same place as the previous on the way to marcus and missy's wedding!

we had a great time!! like another mini reunion thing. on saturday night i drove these smashing couples (btw how cool is this--my cousin matt started dating one of my best friends hannah! needless to say it made me very happy) out to the riverwalk in iowa city where we hung out..walked on the "curly bridge" and then decided to do a little photo shoot =)

so for right now im enjoying vacation..then come some more away weekends..yess...then comes beaver lake camps for 6 weeks..wowy that one still looks pretty big to me..but im way excited!

ok so since its been black friday along time ago now....!

wow so life changes in a few months time...good changes and not so good changes...dad is still recovering from the heart attack he had last week...the power of prayer still amazes me..thanks so much to you all out there for praying..the support i felt was overwhelmingly awesome!!! he's still had some pain and stuff--not back up to par yet so keep praying!!the timing of it was crazy..it happened the day after i got home from bible school...im so glad i was here..i know God had that planned!   

im officially tired of airports..i dont think im gonna fly for awhile....ahhhhh when you miss your flight by 5 minutes after running for a mile with alot of poundage on your back.. and sitting on a teeny tiny little small plane in the runway in very close quarters with your neighbors for two hours plus.. and your really lonely and really miss your friends cuz your used to bein with like a buncha people ...yeah..but i did make it home eventually thank the good Lord!! funny how even people at airports that you dont know from adam become your friends in stressing times. and yes i brought that funny cbs smell home with me. anybody identify? the first thing mom says is "phew you smell like cbs!" thanks.

and bible school was an awesome three weeks..wow it really was. especially gospel team tour at the end...wow again!  i don't really even know how to write bout it all!! God is really really good. all the time..amen!
